We are seeking an experienced Heavy Civil / Site Development Superintendent to oversee field operations for commercial and civil construction projects. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day jobsite activities, coordinating crews and subcontractors, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to plan. The ideal candidate has strong experience in site development and heavy civil construction, is comfortable managing large-scale projects, and can lead field teams to deliver high-quality work on schedule and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee daily jobsite operations for heavy civil and site development projects
  • Coordinate field crews, subcontractors, and equipment to maintain project schedules
  • Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company and regulatory standards
  • Review project plans and specifications to ensure accurate execution of work
  • Monitor production rates, quality of work, and jobsite efficiency
  • Communicate regularly with project managers and company leadership on project progress
  • Identify and resolve field issues quickly to keep projects moving forward
  • Maintain jobsite organization, safety standards, and proper documentation

Required Experience & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in heavy civil or site development construction
  • Proven experience managing projects over $1,000,000 in contract value
  • Strong knowledge of dry and wet utilities installation
  • Experience with mass grading and excavation operations
  • Understanding of stormwater management systems and infrastructure
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license
